JP/Politikens Hus was established on January 1, 2003 as a merger between Politikens Hus and Jyllands-Posten A/S, and the Group is one of Denmark’s leading media companies. Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten was founded in 1871 and Politiken in 1883.
The main objective of JP/Politikens Hus is to create and disseminate news, debate and entertainment. The Group is one of Denmark’s leading media companies in printed, digital and mobile publications.
JP/Politikens Hus publishes three national newspapers, EKSTRA BLADET, MORGENAVISEN JYLLANDS-POSTEN and POLITIKEN – Denmark’s leading daily newspapers.
In recent years, JP/Politikens Hus has particularly invested in the development and expansion of digital and mobile platforms, and the Group’s newspaper activities now enjoy a leading position in print, on the Internet and on the mobile platform.
