Ghent Workgroup welcomes its first New Zealand member PageProof
GHENT, BELGIUM – 18 November 2021 – The Ghent Workgroup (GWG) is thrilled to announce that PageProof has become its latest vendor member. The Auckland based company creates robust online proofing, review and approval software that helps its users to get their print work done in a flawless manner. PageProof is fully compliant with the Ghent PDF Output suite 5 and has passed the test determining quality display of PDF/X-4 documents.
PageProof is an ingeniously simple, yet powerful online proofing tool that makes reviewing and approving work feel effortless. Files of any kind – PDF, Adobe CC, images, Microsoft Office, web banners, movies, audio, websites and more – can be securely shared with your team in just a few clicks. With smart tools to automate workflow, review work and make sure everything is pixel perfect, providing creative feedback becomes an easy and welcome part of every day.
Marcus Radich, CTO and Founder of PageProof states: “Here at PageProof we provide a smart online proofing tool that makes reviewing and approving work feel effortless. After years of working in creative companies, we knew there had to be a better way of doing things than marking up printouts, emailing around multiple PDFs and chasing people for feedback. So in 1999 we built one, and we’ve been leading the way ever since.”
PageProof fully compliant with Ghent PDF Output Suite 5
The Ghent Workgroup offers a compliancy label program for vendor members who are compliant with the Ghent PDF Output Suite 5. To receive the compliancy label, a vendor must have published instructions for successful output with Ghent PDF Output Suite 5 and have submitted a proof of a successful output on their system(s). Results of processing the output suite in PageProof were verified by the GWG Process Control Subcommittee and assessed as fully compliant.
Marcus: “20+ years of making proofing software – proof that we know our stuff. Including, ensuring proofs you create render exactly like the original file to ensure accurate proofing, and for the marketing compliance process. Passing the Ghent PDF Output Suite 5.0 is a must in our eyes, and we are thrilled to meet this requirement and be part of the Ghent Workgroup of world-class vendors.”
David Zwang, Chair of Ghent Workgroup adds: “As the use of PDF becomes more ubiquitous in all print applications, the need to ensure the tools and processes provide a reliable means for meeting and delivering on customer expectations is critical. The Ghent PDF Output Suite is recognized as the best way to help ensure that compliance. Congratulations to PageProof for their successful implementation.”
