Compliancy and instructions
The GWG offers a compliancy program for its vendor members. This allows vendors to ensure their solutions comply with the Ghent PDF Output Suite 5 and to communicate that to their customers. It also allows customers to be confident that a wide range of advanced PDF features can be successfully handled by those solutions.
Compliancy rules
To be compliant and listed on this page, a vendor must:
- Have submitted proof of successful output, display or processing of the Ghent Output Suite 5 to the GWG.
- Have provided instructions for end users on how to successfully handle such files to the GWG.
Interested GWG vendor members can submit their applications to the Process Control Subcommittee by sending an email to admin@gwg.org.
Instructions
The vendors listed below participated in this program for the solutions mentioned. For each solution, you can download vendor-supplied instructions so you can easily configure your software or hardware and to replicate their results. These settings should also be used to process other PDF/X-4 files. The instructions were created by the vendors of these systems. The GWG did not test these instructions.
In case of problems, please contact your vendor.
This compliance label only confirms that the vendor sent us one sample output with no failures. We cannot control which system or which settings were used to process the pages. The vendors are responsible for ensuring that new versions of their solutions are also compliant.
